Limited Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

The Sit’n Split™ Assistive Wood‑Splitting Device (“Product”) is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for a period of one (1) year from the date of retail purchase (“Warranty Period”). During the Warranty Period, Sit’n Split™ will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any component that proves defective in materials or workmanship. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished and will be functionally equivalent to the original. This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for the Product.

2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic changes that do not affect performance.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation.
Damage resulting from failure to follow operating instructions or safety guidelines.
Use of the Product with incompatible tools, machinery, or accessories
Damage caused by impact, accident, fire, freezing, corrosion, or environmental exposure.
Modifications, alterations, welding, drilling, or unauthorized repairs
Commercial, industrial, or rental use unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any incidental, consequential, or secondary damage resulting from use of the Product

3. Intended Use

The Sit’n Split™ is designed as an assistive tool for splitting large or awkward firewood rounds used in conjunction with a hydraulic log splitter. It is not a replacement for a hydraulic splitter, nor is it intended for prying, striking, or any use outside its designed purpose. Use outside the intended purpose voids this warranty.

4. User Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, the purchaser must:

· Note and follow the yellow caution label instructions affixed to the tool.

· Not “drop” heavy rounds on the rollers. Doing so will void the warranty.

· Not exceed the 300-pound tool capacity. Doing so will void the warranty.

· Not split rounds that are more than 30 inches in diameter. Doing so will void the warranty.

· Maintain and clean the Sit’n Split regularly. All six rollers must be kept free of any wood materials, dirt, mud or other debris that would hamper or limit their function.

· Use the tool only as intended and with all parts intact and in good condition.

· Be used on flat, level, solid ground. Use of the tool on uneven ground will damage the rollers and void any warranty claims.

· Secure the Sit’n Split to the ground with the included stakes.

· Store your Sit’n Split in a dry location!

· Operate the Product only as instructed.

· Inspect the Product regularly for signs of wear, cracks, or damage.

· Discontinue use immediately if any component becomes loose, bent, or compromised.

· Retain proof of purchase.

· Provide photos, video, or additional information if requested during a claim.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact Sit’n Split™ with:

A description of the issue
Proof of purchase
Photos or video of the defect (if requested)

Sit’n Split™ may require the Product or defective component to be returned for inspection. The customer is responsible for shipping the item to Sit’n Split™; repaired or replacement items will be shipped back at no charge.

6. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Sit’n Split’s™ liability is limited solely to repair or replacement of the defective Product
Sit’n Split™ is not liable for injury, property damage, loss of use, or any incidental or consequential damages.
No other warranties, express or implied (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose), apply beyond the terms of this Limited Warranty

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

7. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty is void if:

The Product is used in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
The Product is altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Sit’n Split™
The Product is used with excessive force, improper tools, or unsafe techniques.

8. Governing Law

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the state of Indiana.

9. Additional Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
